As one of the UK's home shopping pioneers, with over 50 years of experience under their belt, Lakeland offers an unrivalled collection of creative kitchenware, practical time and effort saving ideas for the home, and inspiring gifts from all over the world.

Lakeland first approached me in Summer 2018. They were about to launch their first ever Christmas Hamper, and wanted to commission me to illustrate the design for the hamper bag, as well as the packaging for the food inside. These were to be sold in all of their stores as well as online. The chosen design was my 'types of birds' illustration, which proved to be a huge success, and sold out within a few weeks of launching in early October. In 2019, Lakeland extended the range with an additional two hampers, all designed by myself. The designs chosen were: 'Types of Birds', 'Cumbrian Numbers' and 'Countryside Animals'. Lakeland also designed a 6 page feature and cover for their 2019 Christmas catalogue, as well as focusing all their shop window displays on the hampers. In 2020, Lakeland decided to refresh the range with 3 completely new designs. The 'Types of Bees' proved to be the most popular, followed by the 'British flowers that Bees Love' and the 'Types of Dog Design.'

Due to the popularity with the illustrated products, I have also illustrated the packaging for 2 products sold outside the hampers; Black Garlic Pickle and Black Garlic Paste.
